This piece was originally from a bedroom set with a chest of drawers but I decided to sell them separately. These pieces were manufactured by the Sheffield Furniture company Ponsford probably around the 1930's or !940's so I wanted to bring them bang up to date with a contemporary colour and decided the Walnut finish was so beautiful on it's own it just needed Shellac and oil to bring out the colour and shine. This piece was sold on my Etsy shop and the lady who purchased was delighted with it:
